Sgt. Mario Benavidez was able to represent the Socorro Police Department in the 10th annual McKelligon CANYON 5k CHALLENGE which was held on Sunday, September 18th.
The event is a physically challenging 3.2-mile run where participants experience a steep elevation gain of four hundred and twenty-four feet while running through the canyon
