The Socorro Police Department is a forward-thinking municipal police agency dedicated to serving the citizens and visitors of our great community. The Socorro Police Department has a diverse workforce of 53 commissioned officers and 16 civilian employees. The men and women of the Socorro Police Department answer approximately 28,000 calls for service each year and patrol more than 27 square miles of incorporated city limits. We proudly serve approximately 32,000 residents of Socorro and the many who visit the City of Socorro.
